Shell

In the past years I started to use and love the Unix command line. However, I was always envious when I looked over the shoulder of a long-term shell user and realized that I still know nothing. In an attempt to imitate their grace I started to write down basic and not so basic shell tweaks, tricks, tools, etc. The list of these tricks was lying dormant on my hard drive for quite a while. Posting them here is an attempt to not forget about them – and maybe they are even useful for others.
